Last night it took me a while to fall asleep. Not that I was worrying about anything in particular, it was just I kept having random thoughts pop into me head. One of the thoughts was about the word "OK" I was wondering about the history of the word. What it stood for. Where it came from. Etc etc. I mean, I thought about it for a really, really long time. So today I looked it up on Dictionary.com.

Word History: OK is a quintessentially American term that has spread from English to many other languages. Its origin was the subject of scholarly debate for many years until Allen Walker Read showed that OK is based on a joke of sorts. OK is first recorded in 1839 but was probably in circulation before that date. During the 1830s there was a humoristic fashion in Boston newspapers to reduce a phrase to initials and supply an explanation in parentheses. Sometimes the abbreviations were misspelled to add to the humor. OK was used in March 1839 as an abbreviation for all correct, the joke being that neither the O nor the K was correct. Originally spelled with periods, this term outlived most similar abbreviations owing to its use in President Martin Van Buren's 1840 campaign for reelection. Because he was born in Kinderhook, New York, Van Buren was nicknamed Old Kinderhook, and the abbreviation proved eminently suitable for political slogans. So, today I went to Wendy's (even though I really didnt want to go to Wendy's), and I got a number six. And I said (word for word, mind you), "I want a number six, with lots of ketchup"

They didnt give me any stinking ketchup. I had to eat my fries plain.

So, I had a good weekend. Yupyup. I got rear-ended on 1-5 Friday. Actually, twas more of a kiss. Still managed to piss me off something wicked, though. It was one of those situations where the car behind me was hit, and was pushed into my car. So now I get to deal with both their insurance companies. I also have to file a accident report. Blech.

Later on Friday I went to the Bite of Stumptown to see the Violent Femmes. So did all of Stumptown. So, I got to hear the VF's, but I did not see them. They still rocked. Heck yea!

I dont remember Saturday at all.

Errr, dont remember Sunday either. I think both days I just sat and stared... that sort of thing. I dont know.

Monday was the day before start. It was hell. It was also Kelly's birthday. So I got cake. Then later that night I went out with people. Because going out till 2am before a start day is just goooooooood thinking on my part....

Yesterday was start. Arrrrrrrrrrrrg.

After work yesterday, I drove past my apartment and saw that Darbie, the NG and the NG'sF were there. Sooo, I kept on driving. Alls the way to the parents place, where I watched the Teen's Choice Awards with Lindsay.

Lindsay needs college bad. Hahahahahahaha.

Last night I agreed to go on a double date with Darbie and her new guy and her new guy's friend. I dont know why I agreed to it. I think maybe Darbie caught me in a funny mood, or something. The New Guy's Friend (the NGF) has a mohawk. I'm not into guys with mohawks...

After I had agreed to the dd, Darbie filled me in on the NGF's history. As it turns out, he is actaully quite infatuated with Darbie. And bitter that the NG got together with her before he did.

I dont know exactly what Darbie hopes I will accomplish on this thing. With the NGF. I think she thinks that he will like me more than her. Hahahahahaha.

Poor the NGF. If only I liked guys with mohawks.

The other day I gave my landlords my 30 day notice. They, in return, gave me a list of things I need to do before I leave.

Last night, as I was going through what we need to do with Darbie, I think I may have shrugged my shoulders...maybe I made some kind of gesture, I'm not sure.... but I pulled a muscle on my back. Right on my right shoulder. Lord, it hurts something awful. This morning when I woke up, I couldnt turn my head. Every movement I made HURT SOOO FREAKIN BAD.

So I popped three advil, hoping for the best. Three advil does nothing. So I found half a vicodin, and I found 2 tylenol to take also. I'm vair vair buzzed. And I've got vair vair many appointments today. I kinda feel like I'm dreaming right now. It makes me vair vair happy. And my shoulder doesnt hurt anymore! I feel like I'm water! Hahahahahahaha.

Although, on a sadder note, I also feel like I want to throw up. But on a happier note, I dont care!!!! Hahahahaha.

I have to work now!!!!
