Heeey ho. I havent blogged in some time. Or maybe I have, I dont know, and dont rightly care at this second.

I dont have anything to really blog about either, I'm just trying to distract myself from thinking about how freakin cold it is in this building. Nice day out though, wouldnt you agree? My feet are ice blocks. Grrrrrrr.

So, I did the Run Hit Wonder this weekend. I'm officially one of Randy Jackson's, you know... dawgs. I'm in his dawg pound, arf. I dont think he meant it though. sooo, yea. I ran pass ("ran" really) The Donna's, some girl I dont know (Tina Sky???)The Aquabats, some other band I forget the name of... Anyhoo, it was a lot of fun. I was one of the last to finish, but I did stop and watch all the bands on the way to the finish line, unlike all the show-off Nike employees. Pshhh. I wore orange. I hate orange. But I wore orange because I had to.

They took my picture at the finish line, like they do at the marathon. I wasnt expecting my picture to be taken. It should be interesting to see what the picture looks like. I think my face was all scrunched up, and at one point I did actually scratch at my head. And stopped. But, whatever.

Then I went to the PGE field and watched Joan Jett and the something or others. They love rock and roll, doncha know?

I think I may go outside and defrost for a couple of minutes. Grrrrrr.

WWKRD?

Last night Darbie and I had a very deep and intellectual conversation about celebrity gossip.

You see, I had read a gossip column not too long ago about various celebs and how they deal with errr various fans/poparazzi. Example: Toby McGuire snapped at fans when walking out of a hotel. Julia Styles snapped at a grocery clerk one day. Russell Crow throws phones. Ashton Kutcher may or may have not broken a camera. Etc. Etc.

The last celebrity this particular column talked of is Keanu Reeves. I wondered, "Keanu Reeves is such a nice guy! What could he have possibly done?!" The answer is..... He stood politely in line for a restroom for 15 minutes. Without complaining. When some guy tried to cut in front of him, Keanu said, "Dude...Whoa" and then the guy went to the back of the line.

This is all of what I told Darbie. Darbie and I thought about it, you know...thoughtfully. We thought, "Oh! If only more people were like Keanu Reeves, the world we be a much more peaceful/amusing place!"

So, now I've decided to live with a "Dude...Whoa" approach to life.

Sooo, today is my 180 day review. I'm really too tired to be nervous. Too tired and too cold. And too a couple of other things, but I wont get into that.

I opened up my paycheck today, and saw that I have a week for vacation! Paid time. Finally! I can take days off! VICTOREEEEEEEEE.

My Dream

I had a dream last night. Actually, this morning. NASA launched a rocket into space. Right before the rocket exited Earth's atmosphere, the pilots jumped ship (they were supposed to, this was another one of NASA's suicide missions, just like the one they just had...). My dad and I went outside to see the cloud the rocket made, and all the pilots landed in our backyard!!

My dad and I went to go help the pilots out of their parachutes. But the pilots werent human! They were farm animals! 5 in all. I helped the pig out first, he was able to talk, he said he was America's favorite pilot, and his name was "Farmer Ted, you know? Like that kid in Sixteen Candles." Then he told me to help the cow out of his parachute, because the cow was cranky since he had left the picture of his girlfriend in the rocket. I was scared of the cow, but I helped him out anyway.

So, that was my dream. When I woke up, the first thing I thought was, "I should blog this.." I dont know why I thought that. But, there you have it.

Four day weekends are the best. I am soooo well rested. I actually like things again! The twitch I developed went away! The circles under my eyes are much, much lighter than normal! I can speak in full sentances! When people speak to me, I dont start thinking about rainbows halfway through their thoughts!

This weekend, actually, was vair, vair uneventful. Thursday night I saw Paris' flick, errrrr, House of Wax at the Kennedy School House. I'm actually real glad I saw it, because I was seriously considering building my next home out of wax. I know now that a wax house will lead only to madness!! and chaos!! and a dead Paris!!

Friday I ate lunch at the Helvetia Tavern with Lindsay. We ate outside next to some engineers. Apparently, one of the engineers caught his coworker looking at porn while working. Also, I like hamburgers a lot. I dont remember the rest of Friday.
No wait! I went shopping! Ohhh, that hit the spot. There's nothing like a good dose of retail therapy. Especially with the real big sales everywhere.

Saturday I did my marathon train thingy. I hurt my foot to the point I could not walk on it for half the day. Being injured is super boring, so I dragged my ass and my foot around for the rest of the day. I went shopping again to make myself feel better. And it did! And I got an adorable shirt that I am wearing right at this second! Yesss.

Sunday I did nothing. I sat. Outside. 'Twas awesome.

Monday I ate all day. I joined some of my neighbors for fireworks since it took forever for Spicer to call. It was a big group of people, I dont think they knew they didnt know me. Suckers. Finally Spicer did call and I helped him pack.

Tuesday (today) I came to work at 10, as always, only to find that we are closing at 5, so I should have been here at 8. I guess they thought telling me that tidbit of info was silly and unnecessary. And then halfway through the day, our system broke down. So I have nothing to do. I did register for the Run Hit Wonder through Nike. Joan Jett..here I come...
